The leading international trade fair for seasonal decorative items and festive decorations has registered almost 700 confirmed exhibitors for the event next year (January 29 to February 2, 2021).

In the middle of the Corona crisis, those responsible at Christmasworld are extremely satisfied with the current status of exhibitor registrations for the upcoming edition of the consumer goods fair, which takes place in Frankfurt am Main at the end of January/beginning of February 2021. So far, there are more than 670 confirmed participants. This means that around 90 percent of the exhibition space has already been allocated.

Optimism among those responsible

“We are glad to see this major response – particularly in the current situation, which is impacting so negatively on both business and society world-wide. The whole team at the fair will be doing everything they can to offer our customers at the end of January 2021 a valuable and reliable business platform once again”, promises Eva Olbrich , Head of Christmasworld at Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH.

Christmasworld is considered to be the world’s largest trend and order platform for the international seasonal and festive decoration sector. Every year at the beginning of the new business season, manufacturers and dealers as well as large commercial buyers from all over the world come together, here.

Taking a look at the previously confirmed number of exhibitors for 2021, it actually seems as if the consumer goods industry is quite confident about the time after the current crisis. Those responsible for Christmasworld have big plans for the start of the 2021 season. After all, an internationally important trade fair event like Christmasworld plays an important role as a meeting format even in times of crisis. “Our exhibitors and visitors can benefit from personal interchange at Christmasworld 2020, until our lives have reached normality again. Until then it is a matter of survival for our high-street retailers that they should serve their customers online as well”, says Eva Olbrich.

Safety is the top priority

The organiser of Christmasworld (Messe Frankfurt) explains on its website that a concept has been specially developed to ensure the protection and safety of all those involved in the context of such an event. For this reason, guidelines were drawn up and coordinated with the authorities, taking hygienic, medical and organisational measures into account. The exhibitors are expressly asked to adapt the stand construction concepts with regard to the protection and hygiene rules.

A two-page leaflet, which was drawn up in accordance with the “Corona Contact and Operating Restrictions Ordinance” of the State of Hesse of May 7 2020, is available for download.
