This year, the shop windows of the Donauwörth department stores are designed according to the motto “Christmas. The most wonderful time of the year”.
Red and white candy canes, shiny Christmas baubles, stars, and ice crystals – in this year’s Christmas shop windows of Woha in Donauwörth, Marketing Manager Jürgen Raab uses classic winter and Christmas symbols and combines them with a blue and white cloud landscape. In the windows, mannequins present the latest winter fashion and invite customers and passers-by to visit the Christmassy decorated department store’. “Especially now, in these difficult times, I think it is very important that people can simply see something beautiful for a few hours, let go and be inspired,” says Jürgen Raab. The visual merchandising expert of the traditional Donauwörth store hopes that customers will “enjoy not hearing anything from Corona” and instead “just look, relax and shop for themselves and their loved ones”.
Christmas spirit throughout the department store
Not only in the shop windows, which this year were decorated under the motto “Christmas. The most wonderful time of the year”, visitors of Woha will be put in a pre-Christmas mood. In all departments of the store, such as leather goods, toys, menswear, watches and jewellery, a festive atmosphere has been created.
“A highlight is always the Christmas decoration around and between our staircase. The first thing the customers see when they arrive on the escalator on the upper floor. We want the customers to delve into our Christmas world. With lights, garlands, Christmas trees and reindeer, we want to get visitors in the mood for the most wonderful time of the year,” assures Marketing Manager Jürgen Raab.
